EO n. 4.13 - The State of New York Continues the Declaration of a Statewide Disaster Emergency

Dear Home Care Agencies,


The State of New York continues the declaration of a Statewide Disaster Emergency due to Healthcare Staffing Shortages.


The Executive Order n. 4.13 states the following:


  1. The staffing shortages are expected to continue;

  2. The ability to provide care within the hospitals and healthcare facilities will be critically affected by the staffing shortages;

  3. Hospitals and healthcare facilities require an immediate need to ensure and provide care to certain populations.


The Governor of the New York State extends the State Disaster Emergency until October 27, 2022.
